Okay welcome to Kitchen Crawler. today we're making almond butter yes another almond butter video we're going to do this in the Vitamix 5200 and to show you how easy it is we are using three cups of raw almonds and you really don't want to use more than that because it will bog down the machine and it will shut it off and you have to wait an hour for the machine to revitalize and any less and just does it really suck everything in so anyway we're going to do this it's going to be really loud and you kind of want to go easy very close thing pushing it down until it it's gonna start getting warm hot and the oils are going to come out of the nuts that's what you want and it starts getting smooth and nice nice and creamy you're done and then go from there get the on switch crank it up turn it on full blast and let's get this going ha like to top off and check it out sounds like it could be a little creamier maybe but just know more you blend it the more oils are gonna extract how the almonds just gonna make it creamier like peanut butter give this a rest and we'll come back okay we're back let it cool down just a little bit and we're gonna try to make this a little more creamier I'm actually gonna add just a little bit of salt to it just get a little bit more flavor that's good just bit and I could have actually roasted these first which would have gave them more floors these are raw you know there has been done to them so it's a pretty plain roasting and we'll give it a fuller flavor and it also helped bring the oils out a little bit which I should have done first but I didn't so so we're just gonna get this going again let it whip up some more and then we'll put it in our containers here so here we go okay I think that's it the object is to get it creamy not thick and dry so as you can see creamy just like peanut butter so now we're gonna put this into the 8 ounce containers 3 cups makes about 16 ounces so it's pretty hot so be careful not to burn yourself these are the containers I'm using here these at the grocery store or you can order them online there we go I'm using a regular regular table I'm using a regular tablespoon for this can use whatever you want see it's green so as you can see is just about 16 ounces here woman butter is healthy for you better than peanut butter butter is good for you how long these will last and Bridge maybe a month month or two I was watching a recipe on motherhood when he used her drybeck's a container okay so that works too she said she wasn't able to do this this one the way but as you can see it works you you

How to season a carbon steel wok? The Easy Method!

How to season a carbon steel wok ?  A lot of people apply the technique the wrong way and end up ruining the wok.  So I am showing how to do the process step by step the right way.  I've got a new wok and guess what I have to do I have to season it and I thought this would be a great opportunity to show you how to seasonal wok as well. Seasoning is not grease seasoning is definitely not flavor or salt or anything like that that you're putting on the pan.  Seasoning is a very thin coating of oil that is polymerized you have oil molecules and if you heat them enough they link together and go from being a greasy liquid to being a dry plastic like solid. If you notice the color of the metal of a new unseasoned wok, it's gray like gunmetal gray. Why is this not rusting well because it shipped from the manufacturer with some kind of protective coating on it that's not seasoning. For comparison I have a wok that has already been seasoned a bit it can be se...

How To Sharpen a Kitchen Knife On a Shapening Stone?

Today we are going to be talking about knives. Read More:  Best Chef Knife Under $200  Best Japanese Chef Knife Under $100 A sharpening stone is a stone that has got a coarse side and usually a finer side, and that is going to take and re-shape your edge and get it back down thin enough in order to sharpen it. You are basically taking something that is blunt and thinning it back down. You have to remove all of this extra metal and get it back down to where it is thin enough to cut. Very simply, all a knife is is a very thin piece of steel to split whatever you are cutting. If the knife is obviously thicker, it is like trying to cut something with a chisel; it is not going to happen. There are two stones. There is the India and there is the crystolon. Once you feel them, obviously the difference is coarseness. The one thing about the India stone, it is a harder stone and the brown is the finer side, you have to use oil with it. You cannot use it dry, so ther...

When it comes to slicing meat at home with the best knife for cutting raw meat , preferably all you're probably going to be doing is just a little bit of dicing maybe doing some stir-fry or if you do like to buy whole chunks of state slicing steaks off it. If you are in a hurry, you can watch the short video. So I'll just show you some little techniques at home when it comes to things like casseroles . I've got a piece of Chuck steak here people go on about certain sizes for dice and things like that but when you're cooking a meat for as long as what you're going to be cooking a piece of chuck for the size isn't going to really matter too much because hopefully it should be falling to pieces and melting in your mouth anyway so just little ones actually very nice and easy with the Chuck I just sort of go straight down like so and then sideways and you can get yourself nice little sizes whatever you're after Chuck is quite a tough piece of meat so your...
